First, Kim Kardashian went all sexyface on the cover of Glamour, leaving critics whispering that one of her body parts was looking a bit more luscious than usual.
Then last week, new photos of the E! reality star popped up, showing that it wasn’t just a trick of the camera or an overzealous Photoshopper that resulted in Kim’s sudden trout pout.
And while we know Kim has been open about (to the point of documenting on TV) her previous dalliances with injectables, there’s no denying that her lips certainly appear to have plumped up in recent weeks. If there’s one area Kim doesn’t need help in, it’s the beauty stakes, and while she acknowledges that she’s been looking a little puffy in the mouth region lately, she assures us there’s a perfectly good syringe-free explanation for it.
“I absolutely did not get lip injections,” she told E! News. “That’s ridiculous. I’ve always been pretty open and honest and have no problem admitting that if that was the case—but it’s not.”
So what’s the deal? Just a little thing called the common cold.
“I had the flu and that pic was taken right when I woke up with no make-up,” she said of the paparazzi shots. “To be honest, it doesn’t even look different, but if anything, my bottom lip looks bigger, why would I do one lip?”
So there you go: our girl Kim is 100 percent natural.
