KIM IS A WISE BUSINESSWOMAN


Going beyond socialites, former gal pals Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton have another common quality: the ability to make profitable business decisions. While their initial fame might have included racy sex tapes, both have gone past those early years.

As both women celebrate their 30th birthdays, fans consider their achievements. Kim Kardashian and her famous family have achieved amazing success and multi-million dollar revenues since the release of her racy tape with former beau Ray-J, Brandy’s little brother.

Success is all in the family for the Kardashians beyond famous stepfather Bruce Jenner. The Kardashian reality show empire has made the entire family famous, including their mom Kris and sisters Kourtney and Khloe.

Reality shows such as “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” and “Kourtney and Kim Take New York” have done better than expected. Add the multiple Kardashian business enterprises, and the family earned a cool $65 million, according to E! Online.

Mama Kris Jenner told the Hollywood Reporter about her famed reality show brood, “We’re just this big family with a lot of drama and a lot of issues, and there’s someone here for everyone to relate to.”

Khloe Kardashian Odom shared additional insight about their vast success, stating, “These shows are a 30-minute commercial.”

Would they really use reality television as a launching pad for other business endeavors? Of course they would! The New York reality show centers around their clothing boutique Dash with other locations in Miami and California. Kim charges up to a cool $25,000 to mention a business or brand in one of her tweets.

Kim and Kris are spokespeople for the Sketchers Shape-ups campaign, and Khloe and Kim still pitch Quick Trim. Fragrances, personal appearances and an upcoming lifestyle collection are all ways to fuel the Kardashian empire.

Is there anything the Kardashians won’t do for a buck? While they are prospering entrepreneurs, they do draw the line as sex toys for Khloe and husband Lamar. Khloe said, “The company wanted to know why I was turning them down. I said, ‘It’s just not the look we’re going for at this moment, but thank you.’ They said, ‘It’s not hardcore, just vibrating panties, nipple rings and vibrators.’ I was like, ‘Hell to the no!’ ”

The Kardashians don’t need to hawk nipple rings with a constantly growing empire worth over $65 million. Meanwhile, Paris Hilton just introduced a new iPhone app and updated her website. If America wants to buy it, these ladies will sell it.
